Integrative computer-based planning and construction for resource-efficient architecture

3-8-2023_14_06_42_intcdc-knippers-jan-0919

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Knippers, Jan Knippers Ingenieure

The climate crisis is forcing us to drastically reduce the consumption of fossil resources for building. At the same time, the volume of construction work must increase significantly in order to provide sufficient living space for the growing world population. Consistent digitalisation is the key that reconciles the opposing goals of saving resources and increasing productivity. The lecture will show new approaches for tomorrow's building that respond to the challenges of the future.
