From the New Wooden City to the Cement-Free House

Image - edition 2024 Frankfurt - From the New Wooden City to the Cement-Free House.jpg

Elise Pischetsrieder, weberbrunner architekten, Berlin

The transformation of construction is in full swing. Materials, construction methods, and sufficiency shape building projects and design decisions. Circular concepts and renewable, CO2-reducing building materials are particularly in focus. The significant changes in building culture over the past few years are impressively demonstrated by the wooden structures of weberbrunner architekten. Whether in subsidized housing, school and healthcare construction, or the ecological renovation of listed buildings, the approach is clear: sensible, simple, and beautiful buildings are needed.
