Tim Hupe, HUPE FLATAU PARTNER

Dematerialisation is a central theme of the architectural debate, and not just in recent discussions. Put into a formula, this would be: Matter / Space. It is similar with durability. Here the analogous formula is: Matter / Time. But how do dematerialisation and permanence relate to each other? A question that is worth getting to the bottom of in order not to lose the current discussion to technocracy.
