The lecture will show how circular thinking is transforming contemporary architecture.
Rather than focusing solely on material recycling and new technologies, we will take a broader view - looking at the circularity of ideas (a return to proven 19th-century methods), the circularity of space (designing buildings open to changing functions and user needs), and the circularity of energy (solutions such as night cooling that align with natural cycles). This is a proposal for a new design philosophy in which architecture becomes part of a larger cycle - of ideas, life, and the environment.
