Building net zero: how do we make it workable and affordable?

  • Thoughtful Tomorrow
25ABK_Seminar_15mei-16u_AWX_CORRECT 13 05

Iwein Meyskens, archipelago architects / Lode Lefevre, VK architects+engineers / Els Vanden Berghe, Pixii Passiefhuis-Platform / Moderator: Bertrand Lafontaine, Palindroom /
Orde van Architecten - Vlaamse Raad

Under the moderation of Bertrand Lafontaine, Iwein Meyskens, Lode Lefevre and Els Vanden Berghe will delve into the net zero ambition (Green Deal). How can we develop a sustainable strategy for the entire construction chain? What role can energy-efficient design, sustainable and recyclable materials, monitoring and optimisation play in achieving this goal? And most importantly – how do we ensure this transition remains affordable, now and in the future? Together with our three expert speakers, we will explore these questions in depth. This panel discussion is organised by the Order of Architects – Flemish Council.
