Architecture and light are intimately linked. Without light, there is no revelation. Without light, there is no colour. Without light, there is no contrast. Without light, there are no shadows.
The depletion of resources and climate change are forcing light to reinvent itself in order to continue to enhance architecture.
Lighting professionals must therefore redouble their creativity to meet current and future challenges.
Then light will reveal architecture.
