Climate change poses huge challenges to overcome but architecture and landscape design can play an important role in making spaces and places that are more inhabitable and kinder to the environment. Many believe that the key to success is retrofitting our cities, bringing in more wildlife into urban areas and changing our architecture to reestablish connections to the natural world. A healthier, more inclusive city, is better for all of us and we might just be able to take a moment to stop, take a breath and enjoy our surroundings.
