A day in the countryside

Eduardo Corales, CAMPO Arquitetura

A day in the countryside

We start from the principle that architecture should be conceived as a strategic position in relation to space and resources. It should function as a collective tool, applicable by anyone, in any community, territory, or culture, through a series of mechanisms, devices, structures, forms, and materialities.

We claim a stance that is both critical and optimistic toward the cultural, political, social, and economic contexts in which we operate, hoping that our work as architects can engage with reality in radical and unexpected ways — from research to construction — making its potential and contradictions visible, developing projects that enable emancipatory ideas, and thus building a common field of architectural activity.

CAMPO seeks to deepen these ideas.
