WAVE: MODULAR URBAN SEATING PLATFORM

WAVE, measuring 128 x 114 cm, allows for various configurations—linear, lateral, or grid-like arrangements—creating interactive urban elements. Optionally, it features LED lighting around its perimeter. The concept originates from the "Design Award Made For Maastricht 2017" winning project, which champions the use of residual aggregates from demolished road infrastructure debris in creating urban furniture. This approach transforms memories of the lost cityscape into concrete structures, serving as fresh meeting spots in public areas. WAVE's grouped modules form undulated surface in the landscape. offering both a linear bench around its edge and a comfortable reclining area, perfect for basking in the sun and gazing at the sky.
