When it comes to sun shading systems for transom and mullion facades, architects, planners and the qualified specialists carrying out the work are tasked with striking the perfect balance between efficiency and elegance. Our new transom and mullion sun shading system for external venetian blinds and window awnings offers solutions to address these exact requirements for all types of new buildings and renovation projects.
The specially developed products were designed to simplify planning and installation processes whilst simultaneously ensuring an aesthetic integration into the facade. All system components are compiled using only two measurements: the axis distance and the total height. With a large selection of colours, the sun shading systems can blend into the building unobtrusively or set visual highlights.
In development, WAREMA focused on quick, cost-effective assembly in particular to make installation on the building sites much faster. Units are supplied completely premounted and ready-to-install.
WAREMA also provides its partners with consistent support during the planning and ordering process. Integrating the myWAREMA digital ordering platform into Logikal (the Orgadata software typically used in the industry) makes work processes efficient and secure.
Sun shading systems for transom and mullion facades offer a sustainable solution for sun and glare protection on buildings. In summer, they effectively reduce the heating of interior spaces and thus lower the energy requirement for air conditioning systems. In the winter months, they allow optimum incidence of light and help to reduce heating requirements.
WAREMA external venetian blinds also fulfil the highest service life class (3). According to DIN EN 13659, this corresponds to 10,000 movements and a total of 20,000 slat turns.
