From demolition material to thermal insulation - swisspor's cold-foamed mineral foam, the only one of its kind in the world, is a Swiss insulating material consisting of 100 % circular raw materials, which are produced in the form of construction waste (concrete / brick) during the demolition of old houses. The high-tech insulating material corresponds to the urban mining model, which envisages every existing building in Switzerland as a local raw material store for the future production of new building materials. The mineral foam impresses with its high degree of circularity as well as its excellent insulating performance (0.035 W/mK). With swisspor mineral foam, the materialcycle is closed sustainably.
