Thanks to a combination of several innovative solutions, SkyProof is the strongest and best-performing metal roofing system in the world. It is designed to withstand extreme weather phenomena, which are becoming increasingly frequent due to climate change. Our system guarantees excellent impermeability, even under extreme conditions such as complete submersion in water. This is made possible by its unique internal drainage channel, which completely eliminates the risk of infiltration. SkyProof also offers exceptional wind resistance, withstanding pressure and vacuum forces of over 700 kg/m² with 1200 mm spacing and 0.66 mm thick aluminium sheets. It can also be walked on without deforming, which increases its versatility and robustness. All of these performance features have been verified by tests conducted at the Giordano Institute, an independent laboratory. The results show that, for the same thickness and support spacing, SkyProof clearly outperforms the competition for both positive and negative loads. Another advantage is the compact, transportable profiling machine that can produce sheets of virtually any length directly on site. Finally, thanks to the special polyamide brackets, it is not necessary to drill holes in the sheets to fix them to the support structure. These brackets do not interfere with the sheets and allow the roof to move freely in the longitudinal direction during normal use. This reduces wear and extends the lifespan of the system. SkyProof sheets are the ideal roofing system for accommodating photovoltaic and thermo-photovoltaic systems. Using appropriate brackets, which are anchored to the SkyProof sheet without fastening the roofing membrane, allows for the installation of panels of all types and power ratings. This guarantees complete roof sealing in all weather conditions.
