The Austrian design studio EOOS and LAUFEN have developed a pioneering urine-diverting toilet that revolutionizes the user interface for sustainable urban water management. LAUFEN's vision is to introduce sustainable wastewater management in public places (hotels, offices, hospitals, etc.). This management must become an essential component of the closed-circuit economy, through the efficient transformation of the collected wastewater, the recycling of fertilizing elements and the treatment before discharge into nature.
