Roman Brick

    A@W London 2020
The Roman brick has the very slender and elegant expression also found in other much more expensive bricks. One of the advantages of the Roman brick is that it is relatively cheap to purchase and fast to use. The brick weighs approximately the same as an ordinary Danish brick and you need approximately the same number of bricks per m2 of brickwork as with an ordinary Danish format. The Roman brick is a cheap way of obtaining a very exclusive expression in your brickwork. The size is: 348 x 108 x 33 mm. The Roman brick is also part of a 3-brick system, The Flex system, which was inspired by a famous building system from the toy industry that offers several sizes but only one system. It's based on the horisontal wall measuring module, which is based on 6 mm, also being used as the vertical measuring module. This ensures the highest possible level of brick flexibility, and the calculation of measures becomes much easier. You need 3 Flex bricks for a height of 18 cm, 2 Monk bricks for a height of 18 cm and 4 Roman bricks for a height of 18 cm. (The joints are always 12 mm.)
