Panneau photovoltaïque coloré Kromatix

Our technology has been developed at the EPFL, the Swiss Federal Polytechnique Institute, with the aim of integrating solar panels on to buildings (BIPV) by turning it into a facade element of a chosen colour. Our product has no paint or tint, but only atomic deposition transforming the solar glass into a coloured one. Our coloured modules have no blinding effect (gloss index), are mat, and opaque with no visible inner components such as cells, contact bars, etc. Therefore, our solar glass is of high efficiency, has the same life span as the glass itself and no fading effect with time. As a facade element, they can be considered just as a beautiful facade glass which highly-efficiently generates power. The colours are Grey, Blue, Green, Bronze and Gold. So we can propose: - Custom size PV modules (glass/glass or glass backsheet with a aluminium frame, Power between 140 and 180 Wp/m2 depending on the colour and technology of cells). - Standard modules (1000x1640x52mm, with an aluminium frame, Power between 220 and 300 Wp depending on the colour and cell technology). - Dummies panels has the same appearance but are cheaper, for locations not needing power generation. For facades we usually propose glass/glass modules. They can be mounted as other glass panels for ventilated facades.
