    A@W Lyon 2024
For ARCHITECT@WORK we have created a combination with 3 unique characteristics. You can see this combination in the accompanying photograph: a fire resistance of two hours, combined with a liquid barrier at the bottom and an outdoor application so that the door is resistant to external influences. What does this mean exactly? When there is a fire, our door ensures that the fire is kept to one side of the wall and door for at least two hours. It does not matter on which side of the gate it burns, the gate protects on both sides. Because of the protection on two sides, this feature is called EI1 120. Furthermore, an exterior application was added; this makes the door resistant to external influences such as rain and strong wind. The gate is also protected against rust and irrigation, ensuring a long life span. Finally, we chose to add a liquid barrier. This application is often used in areas where hazardous products are stored, to prevent these products from leaving the building. The barrier ensures that environmental standards are respected and that no products can escape in case of fire.
