ORAÉ®

ORAÉ® is the world’s first low-carbon glass. It is a float glass with an estimated carbon footprint of less than 7 kg CO₂ eq./m² (for a thickness of 4 mm), representing a reduction of approximately 40% compared to standard base glass production in Europe. Its production relies on electricity from renewable sources and incorporates a high content of recycled glass – cullet (around 70%). When combined with coatings, ORAÉ® glass offers excellent solar control and enhanced thermal insulation, actively contributing to energy savings and comfort in both summer and winter.
