OPTIDRY - LEAK DETECTION MAT

The leak detection mat is a fabric mat with woven stainless steel wires. At the intersections of the longitudinal and transverse wires, increasing moisture causes contact with changing resistance. This not only allows water damage to be detected as it occurs, but also locates and displays the fault location at the same time. The mat is installed on flat roofs under the roof waterproofing or indoors (e.g., in bathrooms) on the subfloor level, which means that all sources of faults, such as pipe or waterproofing faults, are detected. The mat or the woven wires can be customized or pre-assembled during production. This means that the mat can be specially adapted to the requirements of the modules, for example for timber module construction or bathroom module construction. For conventional construction, the mat is available in rolls with fixed intersection points, whereby individual strips are cut to size and reconnected to each other. This creates a uniform monitoring area with precise localization of the damaged area.
