Sustainable, innovative, and distinctive LiquidDesign Glass: a preview of the new Eurocol surface finishing product Forbo Eurocol is currently working hard on the development of LiquidDesign Glass. Once again, an innovative and distinctive surface finishing product, which largely consists of recycled glass. For ARCHITECT@WORK, we are giving a sneak peek of this new variant of LiquidDesign, with which Forbo Eurocol hopes to further expand its range of innovative and sustainable surface finishing products soon. From glass bin to design floor Unlike ‘regular’ LiquidDesign, recycled glass is used as a filler instead of wood and cork flour. Pots and bottles that land in the glass bin with a lot of noise thus get a beautiful second life in an entirely new design floor, in which the glass is processed as glass powder. The appearance is also different from the existing LiquidDesign floor finish. While LiquidDesign based on wood and cork flour has a uniform color, LiquidDesign Glass offers a subtle ‘marbling’ effect in the floor. An effect that somewhat resembles that of Marmoleum, but even more refined. This innovative surface finishing product will undoubtedly inspire architects, stylists, and interior designers with new design ideas. Different from others The development of LiquidDesign Glass fits into Forbo Eurocol’s philosophy of wanting to be different from others. By closely monitoring market trends and listening carefully to wishes and needs, new ideas for innovative products are constantly emerging, with sustainability being a constant principle. Attractive enough to introduce visitors of ARCHITECT@WORK to it already.
