LEMIX CLAY BUILDING BOARD

LEMIX clay building boards are drywall panels perfectly suited for the entire spectrum of interior construction works. They are perfect for interior walls, wall facings, lightweight partition walls, paneling of timber post-and-beam structures, ceiling and roof-slope coverings, both for new building project and for the refurbishment of existing buildings, and for projects involving the preservation of historical monuments. LEMIX are made of clay, natural plant fibre and an natural crop bonding all according to the December 2018 published DIN 18948. The new industrial manufacturing technology gives a high dimension accuracy which reduces the amount of construction work and material effort. The dimension of the boards is 125 x 62,5 cm, the density 1450 kg/³ and the thickness is available in 16 and 22 mm. LEMIX has the highest documented fire classification A1 – non-flammable. Partition walls with LEMIX clay building boards have a fire resistance duration of up to 120 minutes (F 120 / EI 120) as well as sound insulation values of up to 56 dB.
