KVISTEN

A unique linear pendant luminaire that offers both energy efficiency and light quality, Kvisten is crafted using 77% recycled or renewable materials. Clearly communicating a commitment to sustainable design to the viewer, the body is made of FSC-certified pine plywood and birch veneer, sealed using an environmentally friendly water-based varnish. Rather than using virgin plastics, the reflectors are sourced from a supplier which extracts the material from discarded TV sets which are simply cleaned and cut into shape, without any further processing or compromising on the reflective values. Using fewer material types, Kvisten can easily be disassembled and recycled with the technical components designed to facilitate future upgrading.
