    INSTINCT by MACO: revolutionary door locking system After 150 years of the locking cylinder, MACO introduces a completely new and revolutionary multipoint locking system without a locking cylinder - INSTINCT by MACO. This fully electronic door locking system opens up unprecedented freedom for architects in custom door design. Design freedom With INSTINCT, the production of a door is no longer bound to conventional, straight shapes. Individual, motor-controlled locking elements (guards) replace continuous multi-point locks or locking part strips and allow for any door shape, height and width. Special requests and architectural requirements can easily be realized and doors can be designed as real eye-catchers. Ultra-slim door profiles can be realized for a particularly aesthetic and clean door design that does not require a locking cylinder or lever handle. Doors are opened via smartphone app, from the inside via wall button. Point multi-point locking without locking cylinder Individual, up to eight motor-controlled locking elements (Guard) can be flexibly placed in the door and can be accommodated in the door leaf as well as in the door frame. Motorized components can now also be installed on the frame side. This means that door leaves do not require a cable transition or tappet contact. INSTINCT-iv clever The powerful multipoint locking system uses the entire mass of the door for secure closing with maximum contact pressure. The door locks with a particularly strong hold. Security with a system The locking elements can be positioned vertically, horizontally and on sloping surfaces, in the sash or frame - regardless of the height, width or shape of the door. Three locking elements are sufficient to achieve resistance class RC 2. Each locking component is equipped with several sensors as standard, which immediately detect any attempts at manipulation. This automatic intrusion detection is easy to combine with smart home systems.
