GESSI presents the new INCASTRI collection developed in collaboration with the archistar Kengo Kuma, contemporary architect with international fame. The new collection embodies a shared set of values and philosophy with Gessi, evoking architectural elements in an exploration of natural materials, artisanal craftsmanship and design. Kuma’s signature style is characterized by the use of interlocking wooden materials and repeating patterns, which become integral design elements of the collection, closely tied to traditional Japanese aesthetics. Our shared vision is rooted in the collaboration of artisanal craftsmanship, characterized by unique gestures and techniques, ultimately transforming them into iconic design masterpieces. A composition of tubular elements fitted into one another, with craftsmanship that, in turn, creates intricate interlocking designs. The object becomes a pure, minimalist element, thanks to an innovative system for volume reduction.
