TimberTech Composite Decking is a capped wood-polymer composite developed as a long-lasting alternative to traditional timber decking for exterior architectural spaces. The boards combine recycled plastics with reclaimed wood fibres to create a stable composite core containing up to approximately 85% recycled material. Selected collections feature proprietary four-sided polymer capping that fully encapsulates the board profile, including the grooves. This protective layer helps shield the material from moisture, UV exposure and staining, significantly improving resistance to weathering, biological degradation and surface wear compared with traditional timber decking and earlier generations of composite materials. Advanced colour blending and embossed grain textures recreate the visual depth of natural hardwood, allowing architects to achieve a warm, authentic wood appearance without relying on tropical timber species. The boards require no sanding, staining or sealing and are supported by long-term warranties of up to 25-30 years depending on the collection, providing a durable, low-maintenance solution for terraces, balconies and outdoor architectural environments.
