The online wall reader complements the Salto wall reader portfolio with a model that combines elegance with maximum security. Thanks to its exclusive design, the new Glass XS wall reader blends seamlessly into stylish, high-quality environments. With its state-of-the-art technology, it also offers users and system operators flexible, secure and efficient access management. It is particularly suitable for situations where online and real-time access control is required and third-party systems such as revolving or sliding doors, barriers, lifts or gates need to be controlled. Made from high-quality materials, the wall reader has an extremely durable, scratch-resistant surface made of tempered glass, which ensures a long life with minimal maintenance. Its finish can be customised with white or black glass fronts. The wall reader is designed for flush mounting in standard electrical installation boxes. It complies with IP66 rating and can be quickly and easily installed in indoor and outdoor applications. The Glass XS wall reader works intuitively with RFID credentials and digital keys via smartphone: simply present the credential or smartphone to the reader and the door is unlocked for authorised users. The new wall reader is fully compatible with the Salto Space system platform for on-premise access control and with the Salto KS and Salto Homelok cloud access solutions. It features the latest security technologies, including Hardware Secure Element (HSE), to protect against attacks and uses industry-leading security procedures, including state-of-the-art encryption, to ensure a secure and keyless experience for users.
