Presented for the first time in Oslo by architects Lund Hagem for the façade of the Deichman Library, FIBRA represents one of the most innovative materials for the building envelope in Europe. Structural and ultra-light, FIBRA allows dimensions beyond the norm, up to 12 meters in length in one piece, without joints and without expansion, optimising assembly costs with a special aesthetic result.
FIBRA makes it possible to explore new options in the production of wall coverings for buildings with customised solutions and according to the architect's design.
This feature, combined with its structural properties, thermal insulation capacity, light weight and low maintenance costs, enables the production of profiles that meet new requirements in terms of energy efficiency. FIBRA can be used in various fields of architecture, from cladding to facades, from structural components of curtain walls to vertical or horizontal sunscreen beams and battens.
FIBRA can offer a translucent finish thanks to the use of special resins, which can create bright and attractive optical effects, breaking down the material and transforming portions of the facade into real lamps.
It adds elegance to architectural works and combines aesthetic and innovative solutions with high-performance and functional systems.
FIBRA provides the same tensile strength as steel and is used for the construction of modern lightweight structures that weigh five times less than steel.
FIBRA is corrosion-free and resistant to water and thermal shock.
