The DoorBird D2102FV Fingerprint 50 is the IP Video Door Station with a fingerprint reader for single-family houses and commercial buildings with two call buttons. The door station provides safe, efficient, and cutting-edge access control. It combines elegant and timeless design with the most innovative IP technology in the field of door communication. The door intercom is made of premium brushed stainless steel and is designed, developed, and manufactured in Berlin, Germany. Our fingerprint reader is especially designed for areas exposed to strong outdoor weather conditions, e.g. heat and cold, and does not lose its functionality. The full-frame touch sensor is based on patented technology by Fingerprint Cards AB and meets high convenience and security standards compared to line-based sensors. The door intercom can store up to 50 fingerprints. The reader does not store any fingerprint images. It stores only one template per fingerprint in form of a mathematically calculated hash value. Biometric features are not transmitted to the DoorBird Door Station, the app or the cloud. Thus, our system meets the highest data protection and data security standards. The fingerprint reader is fully integrated into the DoorBird software architecture and can be configured remotely at any time. Via app or web-based dashboard, the user can grant and withdraw access permissions, and also define which event should follow when a certain finger is detected. For example, an internal or external relay can be triggered, or an HTTP(S) command can be carried out. To prevent manipulation attempts, the fingerprint scanner is temporarily locked after five unauthorized access attempts. The DoorBird D2102FV can send instant alerts to smartphones or tablets of residences whenever someone rings the doorbell. Additionally, an IP phone or an IP indoor station can be connected. Via the Open API, the door station can be integrated into various home automation systems, e.g. Crestron, Control4 and more.
