BOLINA

Inspired by the nautical world, Bolina is a collection of lamps with a clean and essential design, signed by the architect and designer Fabio Fantolino. The name is inspired by the term for the gait with which a boat goes up the wind. It refers to the tension between lightness and stability, between balance and movement, all of which are reflected in the design of the collection. The self-lighting volume, made of satin-finished ochre glass, has a shape that recalls the soft and welcoming profile of a life preserver. The leather bands, which wrap around the lampshade, provide a textural detail of great elegance, creating a color contrast and adding a sophisticated touch. Available in two sizes (Ø 35 cm and Ø 50 cm), the collection comes in different solutions to adapt to any environment. The suspension version plays with a double volume, while the wall lamps and table lamps are available in small and large formats. The ceiling model, on the other hand, allows you to create different compositions. Bolina diffuses uniform and enveloping lighting, enhanced by the warm shade of the glass, which gives character to the lamp both when turned off and when turned on. Like a sail that captures the wind to advance, Bolina collects and diffuses light, transforming spaces into environments with timeless charm.
