The ARF Solar blackout curtain is a new electrical version that can be operated by remote control. The special thing about it is that it has a solar battery and a built-in control center, which provide the power and operation of the curtain. FAKRO solar products work in a Z-Wave wireless system and can be part of a smart home. It has great ease of use thanks to the supplied remote control. This product is ideal when mounted in an elevated skylight (which is not easily accessible to operate). Classic blackout curtain available in 30 different colours, where the electric motor is powered by a solar battery by means of a photovoltaic panel. The latter is located at the very top behind the blackout curtain cassette on the inside of the glass. Depending on the size of the blackout curtain, the battery pack consists of 1 or 2 batteries with a capacity of 1500mAh. The blackout curtain is equipped with a 6V DC Motor of 12W. A fully charged battery in a case of, for example, a size 78 x 140 makes it possible to open and close the curtain up to 180 times without recharging. If the photovoltaic panel is covered with snow, for example, the batteries can also be charged with a charger via micro USB connection or even with a power bank.
